Antoine, by now aka 007, accompanied by Jose and David showed us the coastal area of Douanenez including stops at Pointe Du Raz, Pointe Du Van and Baie des trepasses. This drive provided spectacular vistas western cost of Brittany. Lunch for the day was at Le Charcot and included the famed Escargot! It was a great meal which set the standard for the meals to follow.
In the afternoon we were welcomed to the sardine factory Le Connetable, which has been in operation for over 120 years.
We also wandered around the port areas to see the local industry and boats/yachts in the river and harbour.
This evening was our first presentation which was invaluable in providing us with an idea of the changes that were required to meet the expectations of our hosts/audience.
